The Ministry of Defense has released a newsletter that announced the killing of at least 48 insurgents in various parts of the country during the past 24 hours as a result of joint security operations. According to this newsletter, at least the Afghan security and defense forces have been able to launch 8 joint offensive operations, 79 special commando operations and eight air strikes during this period. In addition, the Ministry of Defense has claimed that at least 128 flights were launched by the air force to support ground forces have been carried out by air forces in the past 24 hours.

The operation was launched in Nangarhar, Kapisa, Paktia, Logar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Badghis, Balkh, Baghlan, Kunduz and Helmand provinces, along with 48 other terrorist 21 others were wounded during these operations.
