Hamdullah Mohab, national security adviser of Afghanistan meet with Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Alexander Mantitski in his office. According to the National Security Council’s newsletter, Mr. Mohab and the Russian ambassador to Kabul discussed the upcoming National Security Advisers Meeting which would be held in the city of Ufa.

In this meeting, Mr. Mohab has said: “In the peace process, the regional consensus has to be created, and concerns of regional countries would be considered as a key issue in the peace process. To resolve these concerns, the Government of Afghanistan will make clear proposals to the international community, “Alexander Mantitski said.” Diplomatic relations between Russia and Afghanistan have a hundred-year-old background and depth, and we are in favor of a peaceful regional consensus on any conditions We will support the peace effort. ”

The statements were made while the Russian ambassador emphasized in an interview with the Pasbanan News Agency that the only option for peace in Afghanistan is holding of Intra-Afghan second round peace Talks between Taliban and Afghan politicians.
