A key Taliban member was arrested in Nangarhar

Interior ministry has announced that police forces in Nangarhar, eastern Afghanistan, have been able to arrest Mullah Torab, a senior member of the Taliban group.
According to the Interior Ministry’s newsletter, the senior Taliban official was arrested last night after launching an operation police Special Forces. It was said that Mullah Torab was hidden in the village of Chimttali in Sorakhroud district of Nangarhar. The Interior Ministry also claimed that during the operation, three other insurgents were also arrested and a motorcycle had been seized from them.
According to the Interior Ministry newsletter, civilians were not harmed by the operation, and it was also stated that this Taliban group and their key member were attempting to launch large-scale terrorist attacks in Kabul by making suicide vests to be used in terrorist attacks in the capital of Afghanistan.
