Khalilzad: Islamabad plays a regional consensus

Following a two-day trip to Pakistan, Zalmai Khalilzad, the Special Envoy for Afghan Peace, commented on the outcome of this visit on Twitter: “It is highly recommended that Pakistan play a role in regional consensus building. Islamabad is also committed to supporting interfaith talks and is committed to reducing violence in Afghanistan. ”
Earlier, the US Special Envoy for Peace in Afghanistan has said that we are concerned about the killing of Afghan civilians, and insisted that the United States will support Afghanistan in order to put an end to this bloodshed and battle.
This is while the Afghan government has received the largest consultative meeting for peace and dialogue with the Taliban.
