Taliban officials: The United States and the Taliban are working on a withdrawal plan

According to a US media outlet quoted the Taliban, the US delegation is negotiating with the Taliban’s political office members in Qatar and currently they working on finalizing draft the early withdrawal of US and NATO forces from Afghanistan. Khairullah Khairkhwah, a member of the Taliban’s political office and peace delegation has told some us based American television channels, he has also stated that the two sides are currently trying to complete a draft plan on withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan. Mr. Khairkhwah added: “The United States is likely to be working on plans to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan. We also make all our votes with the Military Committee, when the United States needs to leave Afghanistan. After that, we will finalize the final timetable for leaving Afghanistan. ”
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced a day ago that the group has already stopped talks for one day and it is scheduled to re-begin on Saturday this afternoon, the media reports indicate. Taliban six days ago, begun the seventh round of peace talks between the group and Washington are resumed, while at the same time, the Taliban are expected to meet directly with the Afghan government next week and discuss the peace process with government officials.
