In the year 1336 AH, the village of Omarz in province of Panjshir witnessed the emergence of a child. He was named Fahim and then became known to Muhammad Qasem Fahim the marshal of Afghanistan. He studied his first education in his hometown, and then entered the Arabic dialect of Kabul. Muhammad Qasem Fahim was fully fluent in Dari, Pashto and Arabic. He later acknowledged the membership of the Muslim Youth Movement in Afghanistan.

Marshal Fahim began his major struggles at the same time as the Afghan jihad began, as the national hero became a close friend of Shahid Ahmad Shah Massoud. Mohammad Qasem Fahim was the commander of Mujahedeen in northern Kabul in 1366 as the commander of the Mujahedeen forces, and in 1988 he traveled to the northern provinces of Balkh, Jawzjan, and Faryab for the sake of the expansion and coherence of the Nezar forces.

During the resistance, Mohammad Qasem Fahim became one of the great commanders of the country’s jihad and played a role in the transformation of Afghanistan. After assassination of the national hero, he assumed responsibility for the battle against the Taliban, and during the transition, he was appointed National Defense Minister of the country, and at that time, he became Marshal of Afghanistan. Marshall, was elected as first vice president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai. And after a lot of downs and downs in 1392, Solar Hijri he died at the age of 56 when he was first vice presidential because of a heart attack.
