Last night, National Security Forces launched targeted and massive operations to eliminate or detain a terrorist group responsible for subsequent attacks in Kabul. The operation began at 12:30 pm on Tuesday. National Directorate of Security Forces was tasked to arrest or eliminate the most dangerous ISIL militant group responsible for launching subsequent attacks in Kabul.

The operation ended after six hours on Wednesday morning at 6:30 am. National security officials attributed the delay and prolongation of the operation to the presence of terrorists in residential homes. In a news release, the Directorate-General for National Security said hours after the operation ended: “The operation was launched by Special National Security Forces in the 15th district of Kabul. “Ammunition and ammunition were also seized by security forces as a result of which security forces were able to arrest several suspects, and another attacker was killed.”

Alongside that, the Directorate-General for National Security has written that the operation killed three National Security Soldiers. Along with the National Security Forces, it is said to have included 222 police.
