The UN Security Council has called the Afghan presidential election an important step towards consolidating democracy while calling on the electoral commissions to work closely to count and ensure the transparency of the elections.
The council said Wednesday night, in a statement, that the Afghan election is of great importance and transparency in the counting process and its fairness must be guaranteed.
While last week’s presidential election (6 votes) was pale, several polls saw themselves as leading the election and declaring themselves the winner.
